Ce projet explore le rapport entre les dépouilles d’animaux, symboles d’une nature primitive et brute, et le fast-food actuel, emblème de notre société industrialisée.
Cette juxtaposition vise à provoquer une réflexion profonde sur notre rapport au monde vivant et à l’environnement. Je conçois cette opposition comme un changement de paradigme radical, où la prise de conscience de notre impact sur la nature peut mener à l’affirmation d’une nouvelle valeur écologique, plus respectueuse.
Animal hide and unexpected bestiary
This project explores the relationship between animal remains, symbols of a primitive and raw nature, and modern fast food, emblematic of our industrialised society.
This juxtaposition aims to provoke deep reflection on our relationship with the living world and the environment. I see this opposition as a radical paradigm shift, where awareness of our impact on nature can lead to the affirmation of a new, more respectful ecological value.

ficelée comme un rôti / Tied up like a roast

Peau de veau suspendue par des crochets de boucher et lardée de couteaux couleur sang séché est une œuvre créée sur le thème des abattoirs.
Loin d’être un manifeste contre l’abattage des animaux, c’est plutôt une alerte à la production massive de viande qui n’est pas sans conséquence sur notre environnement : émissions de gaz à effet de serre, déforestation, surconsommation d’eau …
Tissés entre eux des centaines de couteaux plantés dans la dépouille, comme une crinière ensanglantée , ficellent l’animal d’un avenir inquiétant.
Tied up like a roast: calfskin suspended from butcher’s hooks and larded with knives the colour of dried blood is a work created on the theme of slaughterhouses.Far from being a manifesto against the slaughter of animals, it is rather a warning about the massive production of meat, which is not without consequences for our environment: greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, overconsumption of water, etc.Hundreds of knives woven together and stuck into the carcass, like a bloody mane, tie the animal to a worrying future.
